On December 29, 2016 a traditional New Year`s show for children and grandchildren of VIAM`s employees was held at VIAM.

On December 28, 2016, a traditional New Year`s concert took place in VIAM, at which vocal-instrumental ensemble (VIA) named Sinyaya Ptitsa performed songs.

On December 14, 2016 a regular creative meeting has been held at the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials within the project “Synkletos at VIAM”. The guest of the event has become Sergey L. Bogdan, distinguished test-pilot of the RF, Head of flight department of “Experimental design bureau Sukhoi”.

On December 9, 2016, senior students from Bauman Moscow State Technical University visited VIAM.

On December 7, 2016, Evgeny N. Kablov, Director General of VIAM took part in a solemn opening ceremony of the XVI International Exhibition “Machine-building. Metal processing. Kazan” and the XI specialized exhibition “Technowelding”.

On December 6, 2016, within the framework of the visit, Director General of VIAM, Evgeny Kablov took part in a meeting on organization of cooperation between machine-building enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan and VIAM.

Director General of VIAM, Evgeny N. Kablov awarded a letter of commendation for active involvement in implementation of social project to improve the territory of comprehensive secondary school №6 in Yalta, the Republic of Crimea.

On November 24, 2016, employees of VIAM made reports at a micro-symposium “Structural aspects of additive technologies”, which was held within the framework of the First Russian crystallographic congress.

On November 24, 2016, a representative of VIAM participated in the 10th international conference “Composite materials: production, application, trends of the market”.

On November 15, 2016, an excursion for school students of the 4th grade of V.P. Chkalov School No. 2095 “Pokrovsky kvartal” was organized at VIAM.

The Testing Center of VIAM has approved the compliance with requirements to perform tests of products, planned to be supplied to PJSC “Transneft”.
