Evgeny Kablov – Head of department “Materials science”

On December 19, 2016, a meeting of the Academic board of Bauman Moscow State Technical University was held, at which a decision was made to reelect Academician of RAS, Evgeny N. Kablov, Director General of the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials to the post of Head of Department “Materials science”.              

It should be noted, that employees of the Department also voted for his nominee as the Leader of VIAM on November 9.

 The department MT-8 has prepared about 3000 engineers for institutes of higher education, scientific-research institutes and industrial enterprises in Russia and other countries, including 40 Doctors of technical sciences, more 200 Candidates of technical sciences, 10 laureates of State Prize and Prize of Council of Ministers for long-standing history.
