The All-Russian Research Institute of Aviation Materials of the National Research Center "Kurchatov Institute" took part in the International Engineering Forum (IFD-2022).

The forum was held in Moscow (VDNH, Pavilion No. 57), in October, 26 - 28. The motto of the IFD-2022 is “Digital environment in the aviation engine engineering”. The forum introduced the participants and visitors to the key results of the work of the Russian aircraft manufacturers. The organizers of the event were the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia and the International Association of aero-engines manufactures (Assad).

NRC "Kurchatov Institute" - VIAM presented an exposition at the exhibition with the development of the Institute in the field of creating new generation materials for domestic engineering. Guests and forum participants got acquainted with samples of responsible details that found their application in the latest samples of aviation equipment. A special place is given to details made according to digital additive technologies using typological optimization and aggregation. Also the attention of visitors of the exhibition was drawn by sealing materials, wear-resistant coatings, prepregs, metal powder compositions of alloys on nickel, aluminum, titanium and copper bases for additive technologies.

Within the framework of the business program of the forum, NRC “Kurchatov institute” – VIAM jointly with JSC “Stupino Metallurgical Company” held a symposium “New materials, advanced metallurgy technologies and technological re-equipment of metallurgical enterprises based on innovative technologies”.
