On December 28, 2016, a traditional New Year`s concert took place in the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM).

This year vocal-instrumental ensemble (VIA) “Sinyaya Ptitsa” presented its concert program in the large conference hall.  

From the first minutes there was an atmosphere of the past in the large conference hall.  It was the atmosphere, when the compositions of “Sinyaya Ptitsa” were replayed in all corners of the Soviet Union.

Time-tested hits such as: “Maple”, “This is who you really are”, “You aren`t in my dream”, “I am going to meet you”, “Mom`s plate” and others were sounded from the stage.

VIA “Sinyaya ptitsa” formed in 1972. They realized their vinyl disk with songs: “Homeland”, “Words”, “Only sea” and “Maple” in a firm “Melody” in 1975. The ensemble resumed its creative activity with the participation of the lead singer – Sergey Drozdov in 2000.
