On the 17th November 2014 in the frames of the Third Russian-Chinese scientific and technical symposium “«Advanced Materials for Modern Civil Aeronautical Engineering of the 21st Century»” the negotiations between representatives of All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials and Chinese academy of aviation fundamental technics (AVIC TECH).

On November 12, 2014, Vladimir Dvoryashin, chairman of the trade union committee of All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM) was awarded an honorary certificate of the Moscow trade union organization of the aviation industry workers (PROFAVIA).

On November 12, 2014, a meeting of experts commission of RAS department for chemistry and materials sciences to award the Gold Medal named after an outstanding scientist Dmitry K. Chernov was held the All-Russian scientific-research institute of aviation materials (VIAM).

On November 11, 2014, the annual general meeting of Association of state research centers “NAUKA” was held at the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM). Participants considered a report on executed work of the Association and discussed the main areas of activity for the next year.
