On November 18, 2014, a regular meeting of the dissertation committee took place at the All-Russian scientific-research institute of aviation materials (VIAM), where two dissertations for the technical sciences candidate degree were considered.
Elvira G. Arginbayeva, leading engineer, presented her candidate degree thesis «An influence of alloying and casting technologies and heat treatment processes on structure and properties of Ni-based intermetallic alloys» to the dissertation council.
Further, Olga A. Tonysheva, leading engineer, presented her candidate thesis «Features of forming of structure and properties in the course of melting, heat treatment and plastic working of corrosion-resistant chrome-nickel weldable steels alloyed with nitrogen».
By results of discussion and the subsequent vote, the dissertation committee has made the decision to confer the scientific degrees "Candidate of Technical Sciences" on Elvira Arginbayeva and Olga Tonysheva.
