On the 17th November 2014 in the frames of the Third Russian-Chinese scientific and technical symposium “«Advanced Materials for Modern Civil Aeronautical Engineering of the 21st Century»” the negotiations between representatives of All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials and Chinese academy of aviation fundamental technics (AVIC TECH).
In the course of the meeting the General Director of VIAM academician of RAS Evgeny Nikolaevich Kablov and the vice-president of AVIC TECH Zho Guoqiang have discussed a number of topics and the major among them was the cooperation in additive technologies. In particular it was spoken about the metal- powder composition, establishment of the joint laboratory and also about non-destructive control methods application to determine the porosity of components produced with additive technologies.
Besides parties have considered matters of micro arc oxidation connected with increase of electrolyte implementation effectiveness and specialties of the technological process. Also the problem of sealants microbiological resistance and the properties mathematical modeling depending on aluminum-lithium alloys chemical composition was touched.
It is remarkable that after the talks Evgeny Kablov has suggested devoting the fourth Russian-Chinese symposium to the key issues connected with additive technologies and the prospects of their development.
NOTE:
AVIC TECH is the large scientific and technical complex inside the Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC) and has the serious scientific and technical base as well as the qualified personnel in its disposal. AVIC TECH consists of ten research institutes: Institute for Standardization, Institute of Precision Mechanics, Metrology Institute, the Institute of Aviation Materials, Institute for Strength Problems, Institute of Aviation Technology, Institute of Aerodynamics, Institute of Measurement and Control, Institute of specific structures of polymeric composite materials, Institute of Management, as well as two companies: Company polymer composite materials, the Company of electronic physics "Khantau".
The scope of activity of these structures includes the eight technical branches: aerodynamics, strength, materials, manufacturing technologies, standardization, metrology, measurements and IT technology. AVIC TECH includes also a national engineering laboratory, four national key laboratories, and twelve key laboratories of aviation science. The personnel of AVIC TECH are 134 thousand employees.
