On November 13, 2013 a letter came to academician of RAS Evgeny N. Kablov, Director General of the All-Russian scientific-research institute of aviation materials (VIAM), in which Michael B. Rogachyov, director of FSAI «Russian Foundation for Technological Development» expresses his «sincere thankfulness for interaction, active and successful work at joint exposition  «Russian Foundation for Technological Development  – Russian technological platforms».

It will be recalled, that from October 31 to November 2, 2013 VIAM specialists took part in Moscow international forum «Open innovations», that was held in the Russian capital.

At the forum, 34 Russian technological platforms were presented to the public attention. In particular, VIAM together with several state corporations, industrial enterprises, SRI and RAS was an initiator-coordinator of two of them: «New polymer composite materials and technologies» and «Materials and technologies for metallurgy». Employees of the institute presented to guests and participants the program of strategic investigations of technological platforms, main results of their activity and directions of work for the nearest two years.

It should be noted, that the involvement of Russian and foreign companies into the activities of technological platforms, establishment of contacts, sharing of experience in priority branches of economics was the main aim at the forum.

In the frames of Moscow international forum «Open innovations» technological platforms «Materials and technologies for metallurgy» and «New polymer composite materials and technologies» were awarded with corresponding diplomas.
