On November 13, 2013 the scientific conference «Russian polymeric composite materials of new generation for aerospace equipment “VIAM – PORCHER”» took place at the All-Russian research institute of aviation materials (VIAM).
Scientists and specialists of leading enterprises of the aviation industry engaged in development of polymeric composite materials of the new generation for aerospace industry participated in the conference.

Academician of RAS Evgeny N. Kablov, Director General of VIAM, opened the event. He has greeted the participants and reported that representatives of 22 enterprises took part in the conference. «Undoubtedly, it indicates the interest of specialists to products of PORCHER», – he emphasized.

According to Evgeny Kablov, PORCHER is a leading company in this segment of the market. «Indisputable advantages of the company are high quality of products, the system approach to the work, customers and partners, own research center and a system to choice optimum scientific and technological decisions», he told.

Moreover, the Director General of VIAM mentioned an effective cooperation between VIAM and PORCHER established on the mutually beneficial basis. «It is very pleasant to us that we have a cooperation agreement resulted in a large number of joint works. I hope that we will develop our further cooperation», – he concluded. 

Then Victor V. Burkov, director of PORCHER representative office in Russia and CIS was asked to speak.

He thanked VIAM for an excellent organization of the conference and told about activity of PORCHER on the domestic market. «Our company has been working in Russia over 10 years. During this time we organized works in different directions, the most attractive for us is the market of composite materials», – the speaker declared.

The presentations based on the newest scientific data provoked the great interest. Participants of the conference noted a significant practical importance of the event in terms of researches in the field of the polymer composite materials applied today for creation of aerospace equipment.
