On November 7, 2013 the delegation of the Beijing institute of aviation materials (BIAM) visited the All-Russian scientific-research institute of aviation materials (VIAM).
Specialists of VIAM made presentations concerning researches to improve resistance of sealing materials to microbiological damages and about studies of high-temperature sealants, frost- and ozone-resistant rubbers and vibration absorbing materials. In their turn, guests from Beijing told about their works and researches in the field of rubbers and sealants and their application in the Chinese industry. Prospects of collaboration between VIAM and BIAM in this area were discussed at negotiations.
In addition, specialists of BIAM visited the exhibition of the institute where they examined some non-metallic materials created by VIAM.
