October 24, 2013 a delegation of Dubnensk machine building plant after  N.P.Fyodorov headed by the General director Sergey Alexandrovich  Datsko visited the All-Russian scientific-research institute of aviation materials (VIAM).

Within the visit the guests familiarized themselves with VIAM’s research and production bases. In particular, they visited a chemical express-analysis research center; SPC of heat-resistant powder solders, ceramic CM and anti-oxidizing coatings, ion-plasma coatings, testing complex of high-temperature tests after the name of N.M.Sklyarov; SPC on manufacture of high-temperature protection and production of precision prepregs; SPC of polymer composite materials; shops of small-capacity production of super heat-resistant alloys and isothermal forging of GTE discs.

Besides, the representatives of Dubnensk plant visited an experimental-technological complex of metallic CM, a non-destructive control testing center and a center of competence on development and qualification of PCM. In the end of their visit they got acquainted with a permanent exhibition of VIAM, dedicated to general scientific-production achievements of the institute.
