On August 29, 2013 at the International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS-2013 the management of All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM) had a meeting with representatives of Atlas Material Testing Technology LLC and Ametek Measurement & Technologies companies.

At the meeting some steps to join VIAM to Atlas to the Atlas group were discussed as well as the Framework Agreement on cooperation of VIAM and Atlas on conduction of environmental tests was signed. The document was signed by RAS member Evgeny Kablov, Director General of VIAM and Mikhail Kalik, Sales Director of Atlas Material Testing Technology LLC (Europe).

The meeting was also attended by Oleg Stanovov, Director General of LLC Ametek, Sergey Pronin, Deputy Director on Development of LLC Ametek, Alexey Lutsenko, Head of VIAM Testing Centre and Vladislav Zyryanov, head of International cooperation department of VIAM.

At the MAKS-2013 Air Salon guests from the USA got acquainted with the exposition of VIAM and gave a high appraisal to the presented information materials and samples.
