Evgeny Nikolaevich Kablov, the Director General of the All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM) and the Academician of RAS was included into the organizing committee of the program for conducting a year of science and technology in Russia.  

Vice prime minister of the Government of the Russian Federation Dmitry Nikolaevich Chernyshenko and the presidential aide Andrei Aleksandrovich Fursenko are the co-chairpersons of the organizing committee. Members of the Government of the Russian Federation, men of science and education and representatives of business and mass media are members of the committee as well.     

The corresponding prescription was signed in accordance with the Decree of Vladimir Putin “On conducting a year of science and technology program in Russia”.
