A meeting on the subject «Prospects of application of new materials in the engine of the second step of development for ATF” took place on July 11, 2013 at the All-Russian scientific-research institute of aviation materials (VIAM). The meeting was headed by academician of RAS Evgeny N. Kablov, Director General of VIAM and Evgeny Yu. Marchukov, the Chief Designer of A. Lyulka Scientific and Technical Center, director of the same name branch of  NPO Saturn JSC. 

Some problems of application of new materials in design of aviation turbo-jet engines used as power units for flight vehicles and trends in cooperation between VIAM and A. Lyulka Scientific and Technical Center were considered during the meeting.

Upon the meeting, Evgeny Marchukov examined production facilities and scientific and technical base of VIAM.
