22 April, 2013 the Director on international cooperation of French Aeronautics and space cluster «Pegase» Jean-Fran?ois Boisson and the Head of Trade mission UBIFRANCE department of Maxim Lariitchouk visited the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM).
In the course of the negotiations representatives of VIAM told the guests about a history of the institute, accumulated experience, but also about perspectives of works on creation the materials of new generation for different branches of industry.
The issues of energy-effective, service life - saving, ecologically pure technologies, broadening of polymer composite materials application , corrosion protection, strengthening of helicopter gears were considered together with the others.
The sides emphasized a perspective of cooperation within the mentioned fields and also considered a possibility of additional joint consultations and visits.
After the negotiations Jean-Fran?ois Boisson and Maxim Lariitchouk got acquainted with the permanent exhibition of VIAM. They displayed a keen interest in the created at the institute strategic directions of materials development and technologies of their reprocessing for the period till the year of 2030, but also thanked VIAM for the presented opportunity «to visit such a legendary and world-wide known materials science center».
