On April 16, 2013 academician Evgeny N. Kablov, General Director of FSUE “VIAM” took part in the meeting on promotion of forward-looking projects aimed to the solution of innovative technological tasks in the field of composite materials. 

Features of implementation of new developments in the field of composites in such sectors of economy as transport, power and construction engineering were considered during the meeting. Furthermore, funding mechanisms of pilot and research works within expenditures for implementation of large-scale infrastructure construction projects and standardization of application of composite materials in the construction industry were discussed. 

Vladislav Yu. Surkov, the Deputy Prime Minister and the head of the Russian Government Office headed the meeting. 

The Deputy Prime Minister gave a commission to draw up a list of the most prospective research projects implemented with participation of universities, institutes and industry enterprises taking into account world tendencies in this area.
