The book «Armor for Buran - Materials and technologies of VIAM for "Energiya-Buran" ISS» was published by the Day of Cosmonautics. It is devoted to history of domestic science, in particular to development and production of materials for "Energiya-Buran" reusable space system. Also the book told about the leading role of the All-Russian scientific-research institute of aviation materials in implementation of this project.

The book wais issued under the editorship of academician Evgeny N. Kablov, General Director of VIAM and dated for the 25^th anniversary of the start of "Energiya-Buran" ISS. The history of development of domestic aviation and space engineering is described in the book «Armor for Buran», therefore the book is of interest for broad sections of reading public.
