The online meeting on cooperation between the All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM) and the government of the Tula Region took place on June 25^th, 2020.

Evgeny N. Kablov, the VIAM Director General and the Academician of RAS and Vyacheslav A. Fedorischev, the first Deputy Governor of the Tula Region as well as the representatives of the Government of the Tula Region and regional educational organizations took part in the meeting.

The parties discussed the issues connected with the implementation of VIAM projects in a special economic zone “Uzlovaya”. For instance, the parties discussed the cooperation in the sphere of polymer composite materials for the benefit of aviation, space and other civil branches of industry. Moreover, the cooperation in the frame of a world-class research and educational center that is now being built in the Tula Region has been considered.
