On March 15, 2013 Yury N. Shevchenko, deputy general director of All-Russian scientific-research institute of aviation materials (VIAM), took part in the meeting of the Advisory Council on the Aerospace Complex at the Committee on Industry of the State Duma of the Russian Federation. The meeting was devoted to the improvement of supplying of completing articles and materials to enterprises of the aerospace complex. «In particular, problems of certification, attestation and combating against infringing goods were considered at the meeting», – reported Yury Shevchenko summarizing the results of the meeting.

He made the report «Tasks and problems of supplying materials and technologies to enterprises of aerospace complex». His report covered the problems of certification and qualification of materials and their reasons. Also, he gave examples of cases of deliveries of infringing goods, non-compliance with requirements and normative documentation.
