VIAM delegation visited JEC Composites Europe 2013 (conference and exhibition devoted to composite materials), which was held on March 12 - 14, 2013 in Paris, France.

Alexander Raskutin, Konstantin Pavlovsky, Vyacheslav Zheleznyak, Kirill Kutsevich and Maria Melekhina (all –representatives of VIAM) analyzed the main trends of the international market of composite materials, studied new techniques and technologies, met representatives of leading manufacturing companies in the field of PCM. In particular, guests from Moscow got acquainted with new raw materials (rubbers, additives, modifiers, fillers), intermediate products (sheet-shaped molding materials, glass-filled premixes, prepregs, granulated materials), semi-finished products (shapes, pipes, castings, plates), technologies and equipment (for molding, casting, lamination, winding, rolling) and services (software, new development).

JEC Composites exhibition has been performed annually since 1965 and joins a huge number of highly experienced experts from all continents of the world. For many years it remains one of the most noticeable events in the field of composite materials.
