On March 6, 2013 Denis V. Grashchenkov, deputy general director of FSUE “VIAM” and Alexander E. Raskutin, head  of laboratory, took part in the annual All-Russian scientific and practical conference «Federal Roadway Agency: results of 2012, tasks and perspectives for 2013-2014».

According to Denis Grashchenkov, a special attention was given to application of composite materials, structures and articles for road building, repair and service of objects of the roadway infrastructure.

It should be mentioned that VIAM exposition was presented at the exhibition of products and services for the road industry, which was held within the framework of the conference.

«Heads of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation and Federal Roadway Agency showed their great interest to materials and prototypes presented by VIAM», – reported Denis Grashchenkov. In particular, Nikolay Bystrov, deputy head of Federal Roadway Agency, Sergey Kozlov, Minister of development of transport, power supply and roadway infrastructure of the Republic of Buryatia, Vyacheslav Andryushin, deputy head of Department of transport, roadway infrastructure and communication of the Tomsk region, Talgat Fatkullin, General director of Ruskompozit group of companies, Oleg Shaklein, General director of Mashspetsstroy group of companies, the Editor-in-chief of publishing house “The world of roads” and other representatives of the roadway industry of Russia visited the booth of VIAM. «They appreciated highly the innovative solutions offered by VIAM for development of the roadway infrastructure», – emphasized Denis Grashchenkov.

In his turn, Alexander Raskutin reminded that «this exhibition was organized by Federal Roadway Agency with an active assistance of the Union of composites manufactures – one of the key partners of VIAM».
