On June 27^th the JSC “EUC-Klimov” delegation headed by the General Designer Alexey V. Grigoriev visited the All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Aviation Materials (“VIAM”).

The representatives of the St.-Petersburg company got acquainted with VIAM high-tech research and manufacturing complexes which provide the supply of the materials for the successful implementation of the most important governmental projects and programs. The works of the Institute for the development of the most advanced materials and process technologies for domestic aircraft-engine-building were also presented to the delegates.

The guests showed their great interest to the VIAM end-to-end additive manufacture that currently has no comparable counterparts in Russia.

Moreover, the parties discussed the collaboration in the field of the new generation materials and technologies for the advanced engines made by the JSC “EUC-Klimov”.

It is necessary to add that VIAM and JSC “EUC-Klimov” have signed the agreement for scientific and technological cooperation, and research, development, and engineering works in creation and implementation of the technology advance for development of the helicopter engines are performed under terms of this agreement.
