According to the Government Resolution of the Russian Federation No. 1221-p dated June 6^th, 2019 the All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM) entered the list of scientific institutions that preserved their status of the State Scientific Centre of the Russian Federation. In addition to VIAM 41 scientific institutions also confirmed their SSC RF status.  

The SSC status is assigned to the scientific institution if it possesses the unique pilot and experimental equipment, highly-qualified research scientists and if its scientific activity has gained international recognition.
