April 2^nd, 2019 the delegation from the National Research University Higher School of Economics headed by the chancellor and the deputy of the Moscow City Councel Yaroslav I. Kuzminov visited the All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Aviation Materials (“VIAM”).  

The VIAM Director General Academician of RAS Evgeny N. Kablov introduced the main areas of activities and the advanced development of the Institute that are much-in-demand in aircraft and machine engineering, space industry, power industry, civil engineering, medicine and other spheres.

“The VIAM executes the full range of activities – from fundamental and applied studies to development of knowledge-intensive industries for the production of new generation materials and unique process equipment”, - Evgeny Kablov emphasized.

NRU HSE representatives found out more about VIAM high-tech research and manufacturing complexes that provide the supply of materials for successful completion of the most important projects and national programs. The activities of the Institute for development of the nest generation materials and process technologies for the benefit of the homeland industry.

The guests paid much attention to the end-to-end cycle additive manufacturing which so far, has no analogues in Russia. As Evgeny Kablov has stated the additive technology is one of the main world trends of the new scientific and technological revolution.

The representatives of both VIAM and NRU HSE have also discussed the issues of cooperation.
