On March 26^th, 2019 the high-profile ceremony for awarding the prize-winners of ХIII “Social Acceptance” district award took place in Pavel Slobodkin’s Theatrical Concert Center.

The annual award “Social Acceptance” was founded in 2006 by the Public Council for the Prefect of the Central Administrative District. The purpose of the event is to recognize the contribution of the citizens to the development of the most significant district life spheres.  

This year the organizations, representatives of non-governmental and noncommercial organizations, business and public prominent figures, district community members who showed their best professional and creative features and contributed a lot to the social and economic life of the Central Administrative District have become the nominees of the award.  

The All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Aviation Materials (“VIAM”) has become the prize-winner in “Social Performance Assessment” nomination.

The VIAM Director General, Academician of RAS Evgeny N. Kablov on behalf of the entire team of the Institute expressed gratitude for the appreciation of the merits of the facility. “I consider the social acceptance is of principle nature for many reasons. But first and foremost it is the most powerful motivation, the desire to work better, give more, perform acts of kindness answering the call of heart and soul”, - Evgeny N. Kablov emphasized.

Among other things, the VIAM Director General noted that for the Institute the charity is one of the key aspects of social policy. VIAM helps vulnerable social groups, takes part in projects focused on preserving the historical and cultural legacy of our country.    

“Each victory is the result of great work. And all prize-winners of this award work to the benefit of the Central district, contribute to its development and prosperity”, - Evgeny Kablov emphasized.
