On February1, 2013 in All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM) there was held a meeting on the works in the field of lightweight constructions and polymer composite materials, which are perspective for a joint realization with Central Aerohydrodynamic Institute (TsAGI).

Academician of RAS, Professor Evgeny N. Kablov, General Director of VIAM said: “We are reaching a new level of strategic cooperation on realization of important projects and application of new materials in different structures”. He also expressed gratitude for invitation to international project PoLaRBEAR, which is supervised from Russia by TsAGI.

In his turn, Corresponding Member of RAS Sergey L. Chernyshev, Chief Executive pointed out the necessity and importance of cooperation with VIAM, and also expressed gratitude to management of VIAM for support and collaboration.
