On January 24, 2013 Academician of RAS, Professor Evgeny N. Kablov, General Director of VIAM, the vice-president of Association “League of assistance to the defense enterprises”, took part in the meeting of above-mentioned Association which took place in the Government House and was devoted to the goals of enterprises of defense-industrial sector in actual conditions. 

The Meeting was carried out under the chairmanship of Vladimir V. Gutenev, President of Association “League of assistance to the defense enterprises”, the First Deputy Chairman of Committee on the industry of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, the First Vice-president of  Russian Engineering Union. 

Representatives of executive and legislative authorities, heads of enterprises of defense-industrial sector, representatives of scientific and expert communities, business, public organizations and trade unions also took part in the meeting.

The Association “League of assistance to the defense enterprises” was founded on the initiative of Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation in 1992 for developing and strengthening of relations between the industry and military department.
