On December 19, 2012 VIAM delegation headed by Deputy General Director Olga Ospennikova visited Shenyang Research Institute of Foundry (China).

General Director of Shenyang Institute Lou Yanchun acquainted VIAM’s representatives with the main areas of their activity and achievements.

During the visit the parties achieved an agreement to join efforts for solving tasks in conducting various scientific and research works for civil purposes.

“Russian and Chinese parties confirmed mutual interest in joint work and estimated the visit as the next step towards successful development of future cooperation. A few contracts were signed within the frame of general agreement on cooperation and joint activity” – reported Olga Ospennikova. “This is particularly important taking into account broad experience of VIAM in this area and availability of research, experimental and production facilities” – emphasized Lou Yanchun.
