On December 18, 2012 Alexander Raskutin as VIAM representative took part in putting into operation of a new plant for production of LLC “Porcheradvanced materials” carbon fabrics of French company “Porcher Industries”. Celebration took place in Borovsk region of Kaluga oblast.

As Alexander Raskutin reported “this high-technology enterprise will produce carbon fabrics with different technical properties to be used in aircraft and rocket production and in the other most important branches of national industry”. He noted that “at the first stage production volume will come to 20 to 40 tons per year with further possible increase of the volume according to growth of demands”.

Vladimir Potemkin, the head of Representation of Oblast Government at the Government of Russian Federation- deputy Governor of Kaluga oblast took part in the opening ceremony.

It is remarkable, that at the end of November VIAM received a letter from General Director of LLC “Porcher modern materials” Mr. Victor Burkov with expression of his gratitude to VIAM General Director Evgeny Kablov “for support and assistance provided in project implementation of plant construction”.
