On September 12, 2018, the autonomous non-profit society "Research and Education Center" Pathway to knowledge ", N.P. Ogarev Mordovia State University and Mordovia State Pedagogical Institute named after M.E. Evsev`ev have signed a memorandum on cooperation.

Academician of RAS Evgeny N. Kablov, rector of N.P. Ogarev Mordovia State University, Sergey M. Vdovin and rector of Mordovia State Pedagogical Institute named after M.E. Evsev`ev, Vasily V. Kadakin affixed signatures to the documents.

The main purpose of the memorandum is cooperation aimed at implementing the state program "Patriotic Education of Citizens of the Russian Federation for the period from 2016 till 2020". The program provides for the popularization of biographies of eminent persons of the Russian history and culture, deserving well of the state and society.

Within the framework of the memorandum, the parties agreed on cooperation in holding the All-Russian Scientific-Social conference “Admiral Fyodor F. Ushakov: lessons of history and challenges of modernity” on March 29, 2019. The conference is designed to light life and activities of Admiral Fyodor F. Ushakov from all angles. The important task of the event is to activate the work on patriotic education of the young generation in educational and cultural institutions, military-patriotic, public organizations.

In addition, Evgeny Kablov pointed out, “Today is very important that our children and grandchildren aspire to become worthy citizens of their great country. For the younger generation the life and activity of the great Admiral is an example of patriotism and the ability to bear responsibility for the future of the Fatherland.”
