On September 7, 2018, the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM) and the Department of Industrial Policy of the Krasnodar Krai have signed a cooperation agreement at A.G. Akimov Gelendzhik Climatic Testing Center.

Academician of RAS, Director General of VIAM, Evgeny N. Kablov and Leader of the Department of Industrial Policy of the Krasnodar Krai, Ivan A. Kulikov have set their signatures to the document.

The main purpose of the agreement is assistance in development of the scientific and technical potential of industrial enterprises of the Krasnodar Krai.

The parties plan to cooperate in solving up-to-date issues on development of the industrial complex of the Krasnodar Krai, work on the formation of proposals to enabling favorable conditions for entrepreneurial activity in the sphere of industrial production. Particular attention will be paid to the training of highly qualified scientific and engineering personnel, using the unique competence of A.G. Akimov Gelendzhik Climatic Testing Center.

Evgeny Kablov expressed his confidence that "mutual interest in the development of bilateral cooperation will fully realize scientific, technical and production potential of the region's enterprises."
