On August 8, 2018, on the eve of the IV Congress of aircraft manufacturers, awarding ceremony of the winners of the contest “Aviation worker of the year – 2017” took place in Kazan.

N.A. Nochavnaya, E.B. Alekseev, O.S. Kashapov, V.I. Ivanov, A.V. Novak, V.S. Kalashnikov, T.V. Pavlova were awarded in the nomination “ For development of new technology” for the work “Development of manufacturing  technology of semi-finished products from new titanium alloys VT41 and VTI-4 for details and welding compressor assembly of high pressure of advanced engine.

A.V. Sviridov became diploma winner within authoring team of KAZ named after S.P. Gorbunova for the work “Restoration of the lost technology of electron-beam welding with the subsequent vacuum annealing of overall details from titanium alloys”.

A.I. Sidorin, A.M. Safronov were awarded in the nomination “For success in the development of production diversification in the conditions of import substitution" for the work “Organization of flexible weaving production in Voskresensk experimental-technological center for special materials".

The contest “Aviation worker of the year – 2017” has been held since 2011. Founders of the contest are PJSC “UAC”, JSC “Helicopters of Russia”, JSC “Technodinamika”, FSUE TsAGI and the Union of Aviation Manufacturers of Russia. The main objective of the competition is to develop a system for public stimulation of corporate collectives, enterprises of aviation industry, institutions, associations and other associations of legal entities, as well as societies, organizations and individual individuals who have achieved outstanding results in the scientific, industrial and social spheres in the field of aircraft construction and who have made substantial contribution to the development of the industry.
