On July 24, 2018, a cooperation agreement has been signed between the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials (FSUE “VIAM”) and Ltd. “Rusatom – Additive texchnologies”.
Academician of RAS, Evgeny N. Kablov, Director General of VIAM and Aleksey V. Dub, Director General of Ltd. “Rusatom – Additive technologies” affixed their signatures to the document.
The main purpose of the agreement is cooperation in the field of development and creation of domestic additive equipment. The agreement implies the implementation of a range of measures as follows: development of metal-powder compositions produced by VIAM for manufacturing parts of aviation and nuclear engineering on the equipment of “RusAT”; conditioning and qualification of synthesized materials from metal-powder compositions.
In addition, materials science maintenance for development of additive equipment in regard to creating and updating software in order to improve quality and increase the range of manufactured parts as well as technological elements that directly influence on the parameters of synthesized materials will be provided.
The scientific and technical council, which includes the representatives of VIAM and Ltd. “RusAT”, will coordinate this work.
