On July 11, 2018, Minister of science and higher education of RF Mikhail Kostyukov met with the leaders of the State Scientific Centers of RF at the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM), where they discussed the issues of activities of SRC and ways of increasing their efficiency.
Representatives of FSUE “VIAM”, FSUE “TSAGI”, FSUE “CIAM”, JSC “RPA “CNIITMASH”, State Research Center Burnasyan FMBC of FMBA, “ORPE Technologiya named after A.G. Romashin”, JSC “GNIIChTEOS”, FSUE “NAMI”, NRC “Kurchatov institute” participated in the event.
The President of the Association of state research centers “NAUKA”, General Director of VIAM, Academician of RAS Evgeny N. Kablov spoke about the unique features of SRC of “NAUKA”, areas of their activities, participation in technological platforms, as well as priority tasks facing them. “State research centers are connecting link between universities, scientific enterprises and real economy sector. State Research Center implements projects of full innovative cycle and has well-organized cooperation”, - Evgeny Kablov pointed out.
Within the meeting the participants also discussed the issues of role and place of State Research Centers of RF in implementing the Decree of President of the Russian Federation “On national objectives and strategic tasks for the development of the Russian Federation for the period till 2024”.
The Association of state research centers “NAUKA” was established in 1995 by scientific organizations, which were assigned a status of the state research center of the Russian Federation by the Government of the Russian Federation with the purpose to coordinate their activities, to protect rights and to present joint interests of its members. Today it unites 43 research organizations situated in seven regions of RF.
The System of SRC is the most important element of innovative system in the field of knowledge generation, transfer of this knowledge into knowledge-intensive product, as well as training of scientific and engineering personnel.
