According to the 2017 results, the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials transferred from its net profit, which exceeded 718 million rubles, more than 179,5 million rubles to the federal budget. In total, the income of VIAM amounted to about 7,8 billion rubles for the last year.

Such significant indicators became possible due to the increase of scientific-research and developmental work performed by VIAM as well as the volume of products issued by high-technology low-tonnage production. As a consequence, the tax payments and the Institute's contributions to state extra-budgetary funds amounted to about 1.3 billion rubles for the past year.

It should be noted that over the past three years VIAM has transferred more than 351.8 million rubles from its net profit to the federal budget.
