On March 12, 2018, Academician of RAS, Evgeny N. Kablov, Director General of the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials presented awards to scientists of VIAM.

The chief research associate of the laboratory of nickel-based heat-resistant alloys, Boris S. Lomberg was awarded the badge “Honorary metallurgist” of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and Gold Medal named after V.I. Zasulsky.

The chief research associate of the laboratory of metal composite materials, Boris V. Shchetonov was awarded Letter of Acknowledgement from the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and Gold Medal named after I.I. Sidorin.

The employees of VIAM were received departmental awards for their great contribution to development of industry and long-term conscientious work.
