On February 6, 2018, a signing of the general agreement on cooperation and organization of mutual relation between the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials and Stupino Metallurgical Company has taken place.

Academician of RAS Evgeny N. Kablov, Director General of FSUE “VIAM” and Vitaliy P. Shmelev, Director General of JSC “CMK” affixed signatures to the document.

The parties have agreed to perform joint works on development, researches, implementation and improvement of materials and technological processes, experimental and research and developmental works under the conditions of industrial production of JSC “CMK”.  In particular, specialists of the enterprise will cooperate in the field of heat-resistant nickel and titanium alloys, special steels.

As Evgeny Kablov pointed out, that strategic partnership will promote the development of scientific and technical cooperation in the field of special metallurgy.

It should be noted, that during visit Vitaliy Shmelev got acquainted with scientific and manufacturing facility of VIAM.
