On December 13, 2017, a delegation of Aero Engine Corporation of China (AECC) headed by the President Li Fangyong visited the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM).

The guests were demonstrated the possibilities of VIAM in the field of developments, serial production of materials of new generation. In particular, the Chinese delegation got acquainted with additive manufacture, research and production complexes of heat treatment, ion-plasma coatings, isothermal forgings of heat-resistance alloys, casting of single crystal blades of GTE, GTU.

The President of AECC expressed his gratitude to the leader of VIAM for providing opportunity to get acquainted with manufacturing capacity of the enterprise. The parties also discussed the prospects for cooperation in the field of development of materials for aviation engine-building.

Aero engine corporation of China was established on August, 28, 2016. The corporation deals with researches, developments, production of aviation engines and performance of tests. It consists of 46 affiliate companies, several institutes as well as 3 aeroengine-repairing factories.

It should be noted, that on December 8, 2017, a delegation of Aviation Corporation of China visited VIAM.
