On December 8, 2017, a delegation of Aviation Corporation of China (AVIC) headed by General Director Tan Ruisong visited the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM).

The Chinese colleagues got acquainted with scientific-research and manufacturing complexes, laboratories, high-technology low-tonnage productions.

The specialists of VIAM told about developments in the field of metallic and non-metallic materials as well as competence of the institute in the field of additive technologies.

The parties discussed the prospects for cooperation on issues of scientific-research and innovative activities in the field of advanced aviation materials and manufacturing technologies.

Is should be noted, that AVIC was established in 2008. The cooperation includes scientific-research institutes and manufacturing companies, activities area of which are developments, research, manufacture, exploitation, technical maintenance, standardization and certification of aviation engineering.
