On December 1, 2017, a commission of the Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsiya) has carried out an inspection of a Testing Center of the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials.

The commission checked equipment, measuring means, metrological provision, organizational, regulatory and technical documentations, procedure for the conduct of tests and researches as well as appropriate staffing level and qualification of employees of the Testing Center.

Besides, the commission conducted assessment of quality management system of TC.

The Testing Center of VIAM is engaged in physical and mechanical, thermal-physical, metal physical, laboratory and full-scale climatic researches and tests of metal, non-metal and composite materials including qualification and arbitral ones.
