On July 20, 2017, the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM) and Walter+Bai AG have signed a cooperation agreement.

Olga G. Ospennikova, head of scientific-research bureau of VIAM, Ralf Sven Walter, managing director of Walter+Bai AG and Ivan Erazmovich Anchevsky, general director of LLC “Militek” (official representative of the Swiss company in RF) affixed their signatures to the document.

The parties have planned to cooperate in several directions. In particular,  they are going to cooperate in the fields of development and general qualification of materials, manufacture of semi-finished products for implementation into the products of Walter+Bai AG, development and production of testing equipment according to technical requirements, manufactured by VIAM.

Besides, the parties agreed to carry out scientific and research activities in a part of production of metal and nonmetallic materials, coating and other functional materials and complex assessment of the impact of climatic factors on characteristics of materials for products of Walter+Bai AG.
