Dmitry Medvedev, the Prime Minister of the Government of the Russian Federation, congratulated colleagues of the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials on the 85^th of the foundation of VIAM.

The Head of the Russian Government noted in the letter of congratulation that VIAM`s history was inextricably bound up with the birth and the formation of a new science – aviation materials science in this country. “The results of our fundamental and applied researches allowed producing and mastering new materials that meet all strict requirements for strength, resource and reliability. Many of them are unrivaled throughout the world”, - Dmitry Medvedev pointed out.

VIAM has reserved its intellectual and technical potential for 85 years, he noted. “Experimental base, laboratories equipped at a state-of-the-art level and professional skills of the specialists help the institute combine traditions and innovation, be ahead of time and competitors”.  

Dmitry Medvedev stated, that Russia successfully solves tasks on import substitution and strengths defense capacity thanks to work of VIAM`s employees.

The Prime Minister of Russia wished the team of VIAM health, prosperity and new achievements.
