On May 22, 2017, a delegation of China Iron & Steel Research Institute Group (CISRI) visited the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM).

The Chinese delegation was headed by Zhang Yiwen, Director of Center for powder metallurgy of heat-resistant alloys.

In the course of the meeting, the parties delivered presentations and exchanged views on ongoing researches in the field of single-crystal casting and production of powders from heat-resistant alloys. They also discussed possible cooperation on the issues of powder metallurgy, additive manufacturing and technologies of single-crystal casting.

It should be noted, that CISRI is a large scientific-research institute, specializing in development, production and researches of metallic materials, products from them and technologies of their processing.
