On January 23, 2017, deputy chairman of Vnesheconombank – member of executive Board, Andrey N. Klepach visited the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM).

In the course of the visit, he got acquainted with the main directions of VIAM`s activities, research and development and production complexes, laboratories, high-technology low-tonnage manufactures as well as achievements of the institute in the field of materials science.

Academician of RAS Evgeny N. Kablov, Director General of VIAM told the guest about advanced achievements of the institute in the field of development of materials and manufacturing technologies of new generation, in particular, about successes in development and implementation of additive technologies. According to the Leader of VIAM, these technologies should become the key direction of development of the domestic industry.

Evgeny Kablov also told Andrey Klepach about the ongoing technical re-equipment of VIAM, which guarantees the production of competitive products of world level in modern conditions.

In turn, Andrey Klepach highly appreciated scientific and technical equipment of VIAM and its productive capacity. According to him, the modern technological base of the institute is effectively used for providing our country with necessary modern materials.
