On January 17, 2017, a meeting on organization of joint work within the framework of production of advanced engines PD-35 and PD-14 was held in Perm.  Representatives of the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM) and JSC “UEC-Aviadvigatel” took part in the meeting.

In particular, the participants of the meeting have discussed the issues related to providing conditions of technical specifications within the project PD-35, as well as samples test for PD-14. Besides, the parties have considered a list of results of intellectual activity with the object to apply them in advanced products of JSC “UEC-Aviadvigatel”. VIAM put forward a proposal to train personnel of the Perm enterprise in area of further vocational education.

It should be noted, that PD-35 is advanced civil engine of large thrust, which is being developed in wide cooperation of UEC`s enterprises with the use of technologies, produced in the course of implementation of the project PD-14 for MC-21.

PD-14 is a project of family of advanced civil turbofan engine with thrust on takeoff from 9 to 18 tons. The lead developer is JSC “UEC-Aviadvigatel” (Perm).
