On November 9, 2016, an annual general meeting of members of the Association of state research centers “NAUKA” was held at the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM).

The meeting was leaded by Academician of RAS, Evgeny N. Kablov, president of the Association, Director General of VIAM.

In the course of the meeting, the results of work of the Association for 2015 and the first half of 2016 were summed up and the main directions of activity for the future were determined. Great attention was paid to preparation and approval of Programs for implementation of functions of SRC RF. Besides, there was an exchange of views on a number of drafts of regulatory legal acts.

The Association of state research centers “NAUKA” was established in 1995 by scientific organizations, which were assigned a status of the state research center of the Russian Federation by the Government of the Russian Federation with the purpose to coordinate their activities, to protect rights and to present joint interests of its members.

Carrying out of interaction with federal legislative and executive authorities, protection of rights and legal interests of SRC RF, cooperation in promotion of technologies, search of partners, investors both within the country and abroad, organization and assistance in holding symposiums, conferences, exhibitions, professional training of experts of SRC RF are among the tasks of the Association. Besides, the Association actively takes part in legislative support.
