On November 9, 2016, the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM) took part in the festival of aviation and technical creativity “Moscow Wings”.

In the course of the official opening of the event, Dmitry E. Kablov, Head of Department “Intellectual property” wished pupils to strive for new knowledge, to enter the best technical universities and to realize their potential to the benefit of national aviation industry in the future.

He presented the book about Soviet aircraft designer Robert Bartini to winners of the Moscow championship in robotics of Russian stage of World Robot Olympiad 2016.

The festival brought together agencies of the Basmanny district, on the basis of which the work with children and young people was carried out in different scientific and technical directions. A competition of model aircraft constructors on the Cup of Prefect of the Central Administrative Okrug, as well as thematic master classes, interactive lectures and developmental complex trainings took place within the framework of the event.

The guests of the festival got acquainted with the presented models of radio-controlled aircrafts, gliders, quadrocopters.

It should be noted, that VIAM presented a stand with information about Training center of the institute at the festival.
