On September 24, 2016, specialists of Southwest Research Institute of Technique and Engineering (PRC) and Beijing Institute of Aeronautical Materials visited G.V. Akimov Gelendzhik Climatic Testing Center (GCTC of VIAM).

In the course of the visit, the issues of cooperation in the field of climatic tests were negotiated. In particular, the parties discussed the possibility to test a conventional set of samples of VIAM on the island of Hainan.

Besides, a general excursion was held for the guests, where they got acquainted with the infrastructure of the Center. In particular, atmospheric-testing ground and laboratories of GCTC were demonstrated to the Chinese specialists.

The Chinese representatives noted the possibilities of the Center, allowing to perform continuous work on research of various materials and constructions in conditions of different climatic effects.
