On August 30, 2016 a meeting on implementation of the Subprogram “Development of industry of rare and rare-earth metals” of the State program of RF “Development of industry and enhancement of its competitiveness” was held at the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM). 

Representatives of Minpromtorg of Russia, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (Russia), the Russian Academy of Sciences, JSC “Ruselectronics”, JSC “Uralchem group”, ARMZ Uranium Holding Co., JSC “Metallurgical Plant “Electrostal”, “Skygrad” group and others took part in the meeting.

Within the framework of the meeting final reports on scientific-research and development works were defended and composition of the commission was established in order to carry out tests to estimate results of performed works.

It should be noted, that the Subprogram “Development of industry of rare-earth metals” provides for the full technological cycle: from extraction and enrichment of ore to final market product. Target indicators of the Subprogram are tested technologies ready for commercialization and transmitted for manufacturing, as well as patents and know-how.
