On June, 29, 2016 a meeting on implementation of the Subprogram “Development of industry of rare-earth metals” of the State program of RF “Development of industry and enhancement of competitiveness” was held at the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM).  

Academician of RAS, Evgeny N. Kablov, Director General of VIAM, Deputy Chairman of Scientific Coordination Council for implementation of the Subprogram held the meeting.

In the course of the meeting they discussed issues on implementation of scientific-research and experimental design works, carried out within the framework of the Subprogram.

It should be noted, that the Subprogram “Development of industry of rare-earth metals” provides for the full technological cycle: from extraction and enrichment of ore to final market product. Target indicators of the Subprogram are tested technologies ready for commercialization and transmitted for manufacturing, as well as patents and know-how.
